The Bryan Adams Academy of Hospitality and Tourism  lets you explore exciting careers in this fast growing industry.

According to most experts the fields of hospitality and travel are among the leading growth industries worldwide. It is listed among the top three employers in thirty-nine of the fifty states and has significant impact on the economy by providing business opportunities, jobs, and tax revenues. Industry leaders have predicted a significant shortage of adequately trained employees in the near future. This concern, along with a desire to improve the educational experience of students, provided the impetus for the development of the Academy of Travel & Tourism, first piloted in 1986 in New York City and Miami. The Academy of Travel & Tourism became the Academy of Hospitality and Tourism in 2004.

To meet the educational challenge, the Academy of Hospitality & Tourism offers a comprehensive program that includes courses in tourism, geography, communications, economics, and computer applications.

The Bryan Adams Academy of Hospitality and Tourism will introduce you to the exciting world of hospitality and tourism and the limitless opportunities which await you for personal and career growth. You will be learning about travel agents and pilots, cruise ships and hotels, a service attitude and how to sell a service. You will become familiar with travelers from the past and the present, and learn about travel destinations, both exotic and familiar. By the end of this program, you will be on your way to a career in the largest growth industry in the world.

As a member of the Academy of Hospitalty & Tourism, you will be sharing this adventure with thousands of students in dozens of school districts around the United States and Mexico. You are all part of the National Academy Foundation's network of high school students involved in studying course material and taking part in exciting travel-related internships.
